Hello everyone, I hope the good weather means you're all out basking I mean detailing! Just wondered if anyone can enlighten me as to how I top up my transmission fluid please? I have no leaks what I can see but the change seems a little less smooth as it was last year. I don't have an owners which is why I am asking.

This is so comprehensive what great information, thank you . I guess with my situation I had best book the car in at AVP as being in the wheelchair got not chance of doing this check. Great info bless you.

Sounds like it needs a fluid change. At a guess I would say your car has done 150000 plus.

Even so you are right getting it looked at. My 540i at 160000 would miss gears and slip sometimes probably causing damage too and the oil had never been changed in that as far as I'm aware.
