Fixing this. 
Sat next to the 8
Shiny new discs fitted. Got the old ones under my tool box as there was nothing wrong with them. Just need to find a way of getting them on the 8.

Latest fast car through was this
Strange car. Not a fan of coupes anyway but the M6 is a strange beast.
In normal mode it's so docile and unresponsive it's nearly dangerous. I entered a roundabout at about 30mph in normal mode and tried to accelerate gently. The gearbox didnt know whether it was coming or going and the throttle doesnt feel in any way connected to the engine.
Put the car into M mode via the nicely provided button on the wheel and the car completely changes. It is so much more responsive and sharp the only downside being that traction control is disabled, not good when driving someone elses £27k car.
BTW parked next to the M6 is a 2007 S6 V10. Not been sold yet so not had the joy of taking it for a spin yet.

Not a fan of the looks of the Beemer 6 either, but never had the (dis)pleasure of driving one so can't really comment.
I the first pics, both the cars look orange!
