Breaking 2001 facelift Audi S8
I need to get this car stripped/sell of as much as I can asap now so it can get its send of. I will also be recording how much the sale of all parts/the shell make me and then giving a % of that to the British Red Cross, so in a way. Something good has come out of my engine blowing up.
Drop me a PM, I can take payments via paypal and will test parts before I do send them, if they don't work and you send them back I will of course refund your money and postage.
I will take comfort from the fact that my S8 will live on in your guys.

It's sooooo gutting to see this thread. Makes me really wish I'd taken you up on the offer of a swap last year
She's a gorgeous colour, and you've done lots of work to her. Seems so criminal to break her down ;(
Good luck with raising cash though, and very generous of you to donate to charity too

Amar, why don't you take the engine out of the new '8 and stick that into your S?
You've already mentioned that there are aspects you're not happy with the new car, and that you're going to spend quite some time & money getting it up to a point where you're satisfied with it.
Plus, you'll save yourself some pennies every year with the tax.
Then take the parts that you want from the new '8, and transplant them across. You'll end up with a very unique mota at the end of it, and can still break down the new A8 for the same benefit as you'd get from the S, but without losing the gorgeous Green. In fact you may find it easier to break, as Ming Blue was a more popular colour
Just a thought
