Big thanks and thumbs up!!
Just like to give a big thanks to Ben at AVP and also a thumbs up for the work carried out on the A8 and his professionalism during the day.
Apart from a short toilet break and coffee and biscuit break, he never seemed to stop
Also on site was Mike who kept both of us entertained with his tails of do-or-die antics of the navy and army variety (most of the time, I think me and Ben would have preferred NOT to have heard the stories....
The car feels miles better after a service, cambelt change and the intake valve system being fettled - on the final leg of my journey, decided to stretch the legs of the A8 and it felt extra smooth and responsive (negative was PC plod in an unmarked car at the end of the road - think I might be getting a point or two:tuttut
Be going back in a few weeks time to finish off a few bits (wrong part was sent for one of the jobs) and also get the MOT done (can't believe another year of ownership has sailed by already).
So, in conclusion, can only give a full and unreserved thumbs up to AVP - if you need work on the A8, Ben's your man (if coffee is required, Mike's your man)
Oh, almost forgot, went for a quick spin in Mike's S8 and love the sound of his quads (exhaust) and his Parrot bluetooth phone thingy is very nice too
Cheers.
