Hello,
Just joined, not got an A8 or S8 (definitely not an R8!!!), just joined as I'm thinking about (maybe) getting one in a few months (either A8 or A6/S6), just want to find out more info.
Currently drive 1986 Audi 80CL and 1990 Audi 100 quattro avant.

where in Wiltshire are you? I lived in Trowbridge & Corsham, and worked in Chippenham many years ago.
Depending on what you're looking for (and budget of course) the A8 is a very different car to the A6. However, make sure you test both, as you don't want to feel disappointed.
I'll hope that you get an A/S8, and attend the annual meet later this year

I'm in Calne and go through Corsham and Chippenham everyday on my way to Bath.
I will look at both models carefully before I decide, and hope to get some hints and tips on potential problems (auto gearboxes?) first.
